Whether you’re spending the day at a quiet beach, exploring a scenic reserve, visiting a vineyard, or simply relaxing in Treghan’s gardens, a gourmet picnic basket can turn an ordinary outing into something special.
Treghan offers picnic packages exclusively for guests staying with us. Each basket is prepared with a selection of fresh, seasonal ingredients and can be tailored to suit most dietary requirements.
Take your picnic to one of the many beautiful locations within easy reach of Kerikeri, including beaches, coastal lookouts, riverside reserves, vineyards, and historic sites.
Alternatively, enjoy a slower day and settle beneath the pergola in our gardens with a book and a glass of wine.
Along the way, keep an eye out for some of Northland’s native birdlife, including tui, kereru, kingfishers and, if you’re fortunate, kiwi after dark.
What’s Included
Each picnic basket is prepared for a minimum of two guests and includes a selection of items chosen according to seasonal availability. Your basket may include:

• Quiche or savoury tartlets
• Salmon mousse or seasonal dips
• Antipasto selection
• Seasonal fruit
• Assorted cheeses and crackers

We also provide:

Picnic baskets must be ordered and paid for at least three days in advance.
