Birdsong Retreat and Tranquility Retreat are both child-friendly and well suited to families, couples travelling together and small groups of friends. Each offers two bedrooms, two bathrooms and generous living spaces, making them ideal for longer stays or sharing with others.
By arrangement, Birdsong Retreat can sometimes accommodate more than four guests, depending on the group configuration and requirements.
Owner’s Cottage is primarily designed for couples but can also accommodate a child or third adult if required.
How far is Treghan from Kerikeri township?
Treghan Lodge is located just a few minutes from Kerikeri township, restaurants, vineyards, galleries and local attractions, while still offering a peaceful and secluded garden setting.
Is Treghan suitable for golf stays?
Yes. Treghan is well positioned for golf holidays in Northland, with Kauri Cliffs Golf Course, Waitangi Golf Club and Bay of Islands Golf Club all within easy reach.
How many nights should I stay in the Bay of Islands?
While a two-night stay allows time to explore Kerikeri and relax at Treghan, many guests find that three or four nights provides a more rewarding experience. Extra time allows you to visit places such as Waitangi, Russell, Mangōnui, the Hokianga or Cape Reinga, while still having time to enjoy the gardens, local dining and slower pace of the Far North.
