The Little Black Gallery – Art, Jewellery, Gifts

Located onsite at Treghan Lodge, The Little Black Gallery is a carefully curated gallery space showcasing original artwork, handcrafted jewellery, ceramics, sculpture and distinctive gifts from Northland and New Zealand artists and makers.

The gallery reflects the creative spirit of the region and offers guests the opportunity to discover thoughtfully selected contemporary works in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

Collections include contemporary paintings, ceramics, jewellery, glasswork, sculpture and handcrafted objects inspired by the landscapes, colours and natural textures of New Zealand. The collection changes regularly throughout the year, with new arrivals and seasonal exhibitions introducing fresh work from both established and emerging artists.

Jewellery designer and artist Anna Hamilton often works from the studio adjoining the gallery, where guests may see pieces being created and gain insight into the creative process behind the collections.

The Little Black Gallery also hosts regular exhibitions and featured artist showcases throughout the year, including works created for KOAST – Tai Tokerau Art Trail and other Northland art events.

Guests staying at Treghan Lodge can enjoy browsing the gallery during their stay, while visitors to Kerikeri are also warmly welcome.
