Some guests come to Treghan to slow down and relax, enjoying quiet mornings, private decks and long lunches. Others use Treghan as a base to explore the Bay of Islands and wider Far North – from coastlines and vineyards to cultural landmarks, golf courses and scenic flights.
The Classic Far North Escape allows you to do either, or a bit of both.

Exploring the Far North
From Treghan’s central Kerikeri location, it is easy to explore in every direction, whether you feel like getting outdoors, heading out on the water, or spending time discovering the region’s history and stories.

• Scenic flights over the Bay of Islands or to Cape Reinga
• Walking among the ancient kauri trees of Waipoua Forest

Rates and Availability
The Classic Far North Escape is available year-round, with a minimum stay of three nights and a 10% longer stay rate applied when staying three nights or more.
Rates from (low season):
• Owner’s Cottage – from $360 per night for two guests
• Birdsong Retreat or Tranquility Retreat – from $720 per night for two guests
Additional guests are $120 per person per night.
