Our Pet Policy

Important Things To Know

Please read these before booking. We reserve the right to change these conditions without notice.

Small dogs are welcome by prior arrangement in one of our guesthouses.

We enjoy travelling with our corgi, Codie, so we know it is hard to find a lovely place to stay with your pet.

We do need to discuss your dog with you, so please contact us before booking.  Certain conditions apply:

• pets are never allowed on the furniture or beds.
• they must be kept on a leash or harness at all times when not in the guesthouse, including on the decks and veranda, while they are on our property. While we love dogs of all varieties, we are lucky enough to have native birdlife, including kiwi, on each side of our property in the bush, so we  have rules to protect them.
• there is a weight limit (we can discuss that with you)  and no puppies are able to stay with us.
• Owners Cottage is never available for pets

A nightly per pet cleaning fee is charged of $20.00 per night – this varies according to the length of stay.

When you arrive to check in please leave your pet in the car until you arrive at your guesthouse.  It is preferable to stop and let them out before you arrive at Treghan so they are relaxed on arrival!
