We love welcoming well-behaved dogs to Treghan – after all, they’re part of the family too.
The Pooch Package is available for friendly, small to medium-sized dogs and is available in just one of our private guesthouses so you can all enjoy a relaxing, luxurious escape in the beautiful Bay of Islands.

    • Luxury accommodation in the Tranquility Retreat

    • A plush dog bed, towel for muddy paws, and a water bowl

    • Full breakfast provisions each day (homemade muesli, organic preserves, local breads, free-range eggs)

    • Optional chef-delivered dinner on your first night

    • Complimentary WiFi and car parking

    • A guide to dog-friendly walks, beaches and cafes

The Pooch Package is available at our usual accommodation rates, with just a little extra to cover your pup’s stay.

Ts & Cs:  Pooch Package bookings are only available directly by phone – 09 407 1311. So, when booking, please telephone our Reservations team to let us know you’re bringing your dog, so we can make sure everything is ready for your stay – This offer is subject to availability and an additional charge applies, per pooch, per night. The package is only available in the Tranquility Retreat and your friend needs to be no more than 20 kgs.
